The world ches tournament was being held in this huge hotel. All the best players in the world were staying there. The day before the tournament, two of the top players arrived at the same time. They barely made it in the door before they started to argue. Standing in the foyer, surrounded by the media, they went at it. "I'm the best!" "No, I'm definitely better." "Forget it, no one is better than me!"

Some poor person who had no idea that the tournament was being held there came in to stay the night. He pushed through the mess at the door and made it up to the counter. While the guy was checking him in, he asked "What's going on with all that chaos up there?"

The employee responded, "Oh, don't worry about that, it's just two chess nuts boasting in an open foyer."

Alas, today ends Saturnalia. Even worse, it wasn't a particularly exciting one. No feasting, no gambling, no saturnalia et sigillaricia (but I did have a cerei, of sorts, of my own), no sacrifices, no lectisternium (though not having a Temple of Saturn didn't help that)... and of course, public nudity just isn't socially acceptable
